What can I expect during the entire process?
We have made every effort to make sure your entire experience is seamless and enjoyable. Once you arrive for your session, if you have purchased a hair & makeup package, you will first speak with Lily, our Make-up Artist, regarding style and details for your look. Hair and Makeup will take 1 hour or 1.5 hours if you have long hair. After you are done with your makeover, Kimber our creative director, will go through your wardrobe with you. She will also direct you in detail with posing. If you have any specific shot, theme, or sample that you would like to do, please let her be aware of it before hand. Your shoot will take about 1 hour to complete.
A private 7-day proof gallery of all non edited images will be emailed to you to preview. From this gallery, you will be able to place your order. Full editing and in depth skin retouching will be done on every image that is in your order. Editing may take up to 3 weeks from your order date. Once editing is done, we will upload them back your gallery for you to preview and then we will ship your order to you. In studio cash pickup option is also available.
Can I bring a friend for support?
Of course you can! The only thing we ask is that you please bring female companions only. This ensures privacy for both you and our other clients. You’ll have a lot of fun!
Are my pictures going to be seen by others?
No they will not. Your images are seen only by you. They are never shared on our site or Facebook, unless we have your expressed permission with a signed model release from you.
How can I prepare for my session?
Come well rested and drink plenty of water the day prior. Come with clean nails with, either polish removed, or freshly polished. If you will be getting hair and makeup, come with clean, non styled hair and with no make up.
Is Hair & Makeup package necessary?
It is highly recommended. Whether you have the skill to do your own hair and makeup or not, it does give you time prior to the shoot to unwind and relax and you’ll have one less thing to worry about the day of the shoot. Our Makeup Artist Lily is highly skilled in providing you with a look that will look the best on film. There is no need for you to bring your own makeup, Lily uses uses high quality photographic makeup that will not glare and will photograph well. False lashes are available for an additional $20 payable to makeup artist.
What should I bring for clothing? Is any supplied?
Lingerie are personal items and because of health concerns, they will obviously NOT be supplied by us. Your shoot will include four outfit changes, so consider bringing a variety of items and colors. If you’re doing implied nude or nude, that would be considered one outfit. If you are not comfortable showing your midsection, we recommend bringing one piece outfits such as baby dolls or teddies. Most importantly have fun with your wardrobe choices. Have a look at some of our other clients samples from our Boudoir Gallery for some inspiration.
Should I bring heels / accessories?
Yes, please bring heels. We do have pearl necklace and bracelet on set, but you are welcome to bring your own jewelry. Feel free to bring any accessories or props.
Should I tan or spray tan?
We always advise against both in order to avoid reddened or orange skin as well as tan lines. Come as you are. If you have dark skin tone that’s fine just don’t try and become something you’re not days before the shoot.
Can I get some nude photography done?
Yes we do. As with all of our photography it will be tasteful and artistic. We do implied nude commonly as well as full nude and body-scape. We’ll work with you to get what you want from the session and as with all of our shoots, Kimber will be present the entire time to help you.
